Deliverables, deadlines, incentives, priorities, meetings would be some words being used everyday by them, but when these top shots took a day off to cook for a cause, nothing was in mind other than philanthropy & passion. They excel in presentations and inspiring people, but this day was different - they did something unusual- donning the Chef's hat - for a cause. The event saw 9 CEOs showing off their culinary skills for a hearty cause. As part of the Genesis Foundation's annual "CEOs cook for GF Kids" event, the top-level executives took the knives in hand and completely enjoyed it. The annual event, in it's ninth year is the baby of Ms. Prema Sagar - who was ecstasic on the remarkable turnout & contribution - as it is all for a good cause. All the money from this event goes into the treatment of terminally ill children who otherwise can't afford the cost of the treatment.
As said, when you do things with good intention, everything follows suit. The weather was perfect, with ample sun and a cool breeze, the spectacular Petals lawn of Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon provided the perfect venue for the do. It was a multicuisine affair, with Andhra, Italian, Brazilian, Lebanese cuisines amongst others for choice which these CXOs happily dished out.
Mr. Suman Bose, MD India, Siemens Industry Software, took to the Japanese counter and dedicatedly pursued one of his passions for cooking - dishing out Teppanyaki style peppers and a creation of his own - a chicken noodle!

Boasting of homeland delicacies, Ms. Manisha Sood, Country General Manager, Fitbit India, the only lady participant in the event, who also loves to explore recipes and experimenting with her cooking; and Mr. Suresh Narayanan, Chairman & MD, Nestle India, settled for Andhra cuisine - they tried their hands on some steaming masala dosas, biryani and lamb curry.

Mr. Sri Rajan, Chairman, Bain & Company India - handled the dessert counter with ease! Dispensing out a variety of crepes laced with fruit syrups and vodka, he seemed to enjoy his tryst with cooking. He dished out a perfect strawberry crepe while joking about setting a benchmark to be used later :)

The awesome performers kept everyone glued to the lively music being played, there was food, fun, music & dance, but the feeling that prevailed in the atmosphere was the good cause this event was held for. Here wishing all the best to the children and GF for working towards a greater cause!
