Sometimes we all get stuck to get ideas for writing a blog post. It happens with most writers and bloggers time and again. Are you worried about the next topic you want to publish in your blog? If you are worried, then this post will give you some topic ideas as I am sharing twenty-five ideas to create content for your blog. This post may not be useful for a much-experienced blogger, but I bet this will do wonders for newbies in the field.
#1.Watching YouTube videos
If you are a technical blogger, it is a very good idea to watch as many youTube videos as possible. For example, if you watch a video showing how to post simultaneously on Facebook and Twitter, you will get the idea to write a better post on the same topic.
#2.Write about something in your life
We all get stuck at times without getting any topic to write. We call it writers block. When you search the internet, you will get some ideas to tackle writer's block. Even if you are stuck with writer's block, I am sure that you will be having a stock of subjects that you can write in your blog from your own life. It may not sound okay to write in your technology blog, but it can be a best fit on your personal or some other niche blogs that suit your style of writing.
#3.Ideas from infographics
The internet is full of infographics. If you have been in the blogging field for more than a year, it is sure that you might have come across a lot of infographics. Here, I am not telling you to publish the infographic but to share the ideas behind the infographic in the form an article in your blog. But, make sure that you write all the contents in your own style.
#4.Review products
Reviewing products is another choice you can rely upon while writing blog posts. You can review products on your own niche. A technical blogger can review products like a mobile phone, camera, etc., etc.

#5.Reviewing services offered by an organization
Reviewing services offered by a company or organization is a common topic in most of the travel blogs we read on the internet. You might have to write a review of the hotel you stayed explaining the quality of service that provide you. It can be another service provided by someone else like an advertising agency.

#6.Ideas from the comments
You can get plenty of new ideas from comments on the blogs on your own niche. I came across few situations where the query of a particular reader encourages me to write a new post from the idea that I got from his or her comment.
#7.Interviews
Interviewing other bloggers on your niche is a great source for creating more contents in your blog. But, it is always better to make sure that you are only interviewing bloggers with a certain level of quality and fame. Otherwise, you will end up boring your readers with more interviews that may not be interesting for them. So, make sure to choose the interview posts with great care. Read

#8.Write a list post
List posts are the favorites of any people. Even when people read a newspaper or magazine, they like to read the list post. We know that people have no time to read a detailed post as they are too busy in their life with other things. But, list posts are an attraction for most type of readers even when they are busy.
#9.Write about your blogging journey
People like to know about your blogging journey. They like to compare themselves with other successful bloggers as they like to know whether they succeed themselves as a blogger. So, when you write about yourself describing your success and failures, it will make a good read for your readers.
#10.Publish an infographic
When you continue as a blogger for at least a year and if your Alexa rank is fairly good, I am damn sure that you might have approached by many bloggers and graphic designers for publishing their infographics in your blog. Try to utilize those opportunities if you find that the infographics they provide contain relevant and good quality messages.
#11.Create a post about the traffic report in your blog
Bloggers and those who own online businesses are eager to know about the methods of improving their traffic to their website. If you can provide your readers with a traffic report explaining the methods how you increased your traffic status, it can attract a big percentage of your readers.
#12.Make some predictions
Predicting something that is going to happen in future is a source of interest to your readers. You can be able to create posts predicting something relevant to your niche.
#13.Create a list of blogging mistakes
No one in the blogging arena did blogging without making any mistake. Most of the bloggers start blogging as a trial and error method. They do it and then realize the mistake they made so that they will correct it afterward. Sometimes the mistakes we made as a newbie blogger cannot be corrected. For example, when I choose the domain name Digitaldimensions4u, I was not much aware of the concept of keywords and other related areas of blogging. So I made the mistake of not choosing a proper name for the site as well as adding the number 4 in the domain name.
#14.Publish an income report
When I started blogging as a newbie, I used to wonder why people publish their income report on their blogs. For me, it appeared as a show off from the author. But, late realized the fact that income reports act an inspiration for another blogger who follow us. Also, it is a must for attracting prospective customers or buyers when we use certain affiliate programs in our blog.
#15.Create seasonal content
Although creating seasonal content is not a good idea for many of the niches of blogging, you can do that in some blogs like a personal blog or travel blog or lifestyle blog. I created a short post on a Mother's day that look awkward in a blog that contain more of technical stuff. Even though I know it is not a right fit for this blog, I still keep that in this blog. I did that during the initial stages of my blogging. It could have been a better fit in a personal blog.
#16.Create profiles of influential people
I always like to read the biographies of influential and famous personalities from various walks of life. It is natural that everyone like to know more about the personal details of someone who achieved success in a field that they are interested. If you are a football fan, you will definitely be curious to know the personal stories of your favorite players. I bet it is a matter of much interest to your readers in your niche. #17.Make some video of your own
Some people have good presentation skills when it comes to making video presentations. Gone are the days where blogging is confined mainly to writing blog posts. A blog may not be fully acceptable for few of your audience if there are no videos in it. So, it is better to have few videos in your blog. Even if you are not interested or don't have time to make long videos, a few short videos will make an impact on your readers. #18.Use Quora for ideas
Are you registered with Quora? If you are not, do it as soon as possible. The site can provide may provide you with a valuable source of information that can help you to create new contents for your website or blog. If you are looking for traffic, it is good to leave comments on Quora so that you can add links to your blog post related to the same topic. I am sure that you will get hundreds of new ideas from this site if you go through the questions and comments in this very useful website.
#19.Write review of a movie
I did come across plenty of blogs where people write reviews about a movie they had seen recently. Even though there are blogs that are specially meant for reviewing movies, a few movie reviews in you blog can attract your audience. Also, this type of reviews makes your readers know your interests, likes and dislikes in a particular area of interest. So, why can't you review a movie in your blog and share your opinion about it?
#20.Promote other bloggers post in your blog
We all promote other bloggers posts in social media. What about promoting useful and quality posts from other people in your own blog. Yes, you can do that in your blog. Give an introduction or a brief explanation of the post describing why the post is so important citing reasons and add the post as a link. Here, always make sure that you give credit to the author in a proper manner. Bilingual writer and blogger Philip Verghese Ariel do promote a lot of posts like this in his own blog.
#21.Write a list of bloggers you find interesting or important for you
Make a list of bloggers whom you admire or interact with in day to day life. Create a short profile for each of them in your post. I had a similar post on this blog, and I would like to update that with more bloggers soon.This kind of posts will attract the attention of fellow bloggers and hence may lead to finding a good friend, co-author or someone who can join you as a business partner.

#23. Prospects and Consequences
Another topic idea that you can utilize in your blog is writing about the prospects and consequences of a product, service or an event. It is always easy to write about the advantages and disadvantages of using a product or service. When I wrote a post about the advantages of blogging, I actually included some of its disadvantages too. But, I never like to add something negative about blogging in this blog and like to include only the positive and inspiring part of it. Hence, I edited and removed that part from the post.
#24. Write a short story
Do you write short stories? I am not a good storyteller. Still I published a short story in this blog. If you are good at writing short fiction, you can publish it as a post and ask for your reader's opinion on it. Here, no need to say that a short story looks awkward in a technology related blog. But, if your niche suits that type of posts, you can utilize the tactics of adding short stories at times.

Write a list of quotes from famous and inspiring people. Your audience will like it as they all need some motivation and encouragement to succeed in whatever they do in their life.
